What will you gain through the Equine Assisted Corporate Team Development Activities?
Let's look at it from a corporate learning environment. How often have you attended training sessions with your manager or supervisor and didn't really feel comfortable fully participating in the program? Horses don't care about a person's position, power, status or title. They are acutely perceptive, totally honest and have no hidden agendas. With horses on your team, you can feel totally free to participate to the fullest. Your Equine team mates can very accurately sense your level of trust, confidence, awareness, and interpersonal skills. Horses offer us opportunities to learn what we need to change, in order to succeed in personal and professional relationships. Let your facilitators assist you on this journey of change through horseplay!
The programmes are designed with your specific group(s) in mind; for your management team and also for your employees. Your team will be faced with challenges where communication is essential. Through these challenges your work groups' existing communication problems will emerge. Once these are identified, steps can be taken to understand and correct communication problems. With this greater awareness, communication solutions are attainable and more positive relationships can then be created which will be helpful within the everyday work environment.

What do we get from the experience with the horse that we can’t get elsewhere? The horse provides this unique piece of feedback: It responds clearly and immediately to whatever the participants are presenting in the interaction We usually find that the way in which our clients interact and react with the horses is very similar to the way they interact and react with their customers, peers, or other work groups as well as their own families! Our ability to successfully communicate with the horse provides the means to learn better ways of coping with other people that we may come in contact with. We are all part of our own herd, and we must conduct ourselves in ways that enhances the overall quality of life in the human herd.
